Our company is locally and family owned, and we are a New York City certified minority/women-owned business enterprise (M/WBE).

Extensive Experience with Fabric and Window Treatments
Harriet's entry into the world of fabric and design began early as she worked as a family seamstress and crafted personalized clothing for neighborhood clients. After completing a degree in Fashion and Fine Arts at FIT, she worked in fashion manufacturing and intimate apparel for several years.
In time, Harriet shifted her focus to home décor, her other passion. While working for another company, she noticed that many of her customers asked her about their window treatments. Research showed that this was a market in need of a business to fill it, and Interiors by Harriet was born.
